Bridges for Music’s mission is to provide quality education opportunities to unemployed creative youth in under-resourced communities, equipping them with the necessary tools to break through the poverty cycle. Over the past years the Bridges for Music has been raising funds through various cycle fundraisers, which have helped to create the Bridges Academy, a pioneering creative school in the township of Langa (Cape Town, South Africa), and to sponsor the education of many young underserved creatives. The Academy is a 1000 sqm modern facility with world-class recording studios, computer rooms, DJ rooms and a pioneering program combining music, entrepreneurship and mindfulness.
